Mr. Mark Moon, Principal

Mrs. Myesha Jenkins, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Jenkins has been an educator in Gwinnett County Schools for 14 years, serving as a classroom teacher, ML teacher, EIP/Reading Enrichment teacher, Parent Instructional Coordinator, and Instructional Coach in elementary and middle schools. She earned a bachelor's degree in religious studies and history from Emory University, a master's degree in divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a master's degree in early childhood education from Mercer University. She is currently working on the Tier I in Educational Leadership at Georgia State University.
She lives in Snellville with her husband, Larry, and their two rambunctious dogs, Mello and Spirit. They have one grown daughter, Vashti who lives in Tacoma, Washington.

Dr. Crystal Langley, Assistant Principal
Dr. Langley has been an educator in Gwinnett County Schools for 23 years. Her background includes teaching first, second, and fourth grade before becoming an Assistant Principal. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education through Berry College, and then continued learning through Walden University where she earned her Master's and Doctoral Degrees in Teacher Leadership.
She and her husband of 30 plus years live in Buford with their beautiful daughter and fluffy Doodle dog named Cinnamon. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Mr. Trent Nichelson, Assistant Principal
Mr. Nichelson brings 24 years of experience in education, including the last 10 years proudly serving in Gwinnett County Public Schools. His roles have included itinerant teacher, autism teacher, and special education department chair, each reinforcing his passion for equity, student advocacy, and collaborative leadership. Mr. Nichelson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and a Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. He has led professional learning, supported new teacher development, and worked to ensure all students, especially those with unique learning needs, receive the services and support they deserve. Now at Chattahoochee Elementary, Mr. Nichelson is excited to be part of the Wildcat family and looks forward to partnering with staff, students, and families to lead with heart, serve with purpose, and grow together.
